Here are the Violent Youth lyrics (translated into English)

I'm running, I don't know what will happen
Fear's eyes are big
They promise me prosperity
And bruises remain
The colors are gone, everything turns black
Hope for a future day
I want to be protected here
But they protect me from me

I don't want
I'm tired
I don't behave according to the norm
I don't want
I'm tired
The whole world around me is delirious
I don't want
I'm tired
I don't behave according to the norm
I don't want
I'm tired
The whole world around me is delirious

I don't want to endure all the pain anymore
My heart is cold, dark
I look around - emotions are zero
There are no more feelings, only frozen soil

I don't want
I'm tired
I don't behave according to the norm
I don't want
I'm tired
The whole world around me is delirious
I don't want
I'm tired
I don't behave according to the norm
I don't want
I'm tired
The whole world around me is delirious

Hey hey everybody

Another action packed show with loads of twists and turns.

Even though I could only put part of the last track in by Linda Ronstadt just listen to the power of her voice. That sustain is incredible. I am in awe of the way she could sing, everything from light operetta (Gilbert and Sullivan) to Spanish classics (highest grossing Spanish language music album to date) to rock.  Please check out the documentary if you can "The Sound of My Voice". Honestly, blown away.

So here's this week's list

Shake the Hand ... Lee Harvey Osmond * (Tom Wilson)

buried/in ... lowheaven *

It's Coming Back ... Snailmate (a real departure for this show)

10,000 Hours ... Lucid Smog Disease *

Secret Second Moon ... Leon Frear

Gossamer ... Cola *

Moscow Mansions ... Women of the Night

The City ... Ellevator *

Holy Hells ... spelles

Fortune ... Wye Oak

Anti-Glory ... Horsegirl

Superpowerless ... The Kills

Le Kick ... Le Securite *

Natural Light ... Soloists *

Trains and Boats and Planes ... JUNN

La Charreada ... Linda Ronstadt

Thanks for listening

Stay safe

Hey hey everybody,

Time to wish you all a great new year with much love, light and joy!

I had a hard time picking what to play tonight. Almost included a track from the Studio Ghibli film "The Boy and the Heron" and also a great track I heard (of all places) on "Phil's Inn" by Junn. There was just too much choice as there always is.

Sigh, another week perhaps.

Anyhow, here's the playlist for this week.

Singerman ... Neil Leyton (from Conscience Pilate ) *

Lonely Ride ... Bad Leaders *

I Wanna Make You Happy ... Burner Herzog

Mercury ... Woodship (with intro by Melanie!)

All Hell Breaks Loose ... Western Bloc *

Ex Files ... The Bamboos

Mirror game ... Aversions *

Hateful (ft. Sierra ) ... Health

See ya next week
