CMW Day One 2015

Hey ho everybody!

Hope you bought new running shoes because there is loads of great stuff to see and hear this year.

Over the next 10 days, yours truly will be making random (and some not so random) picks of what looks like a good time. Of course, you can never go wrong with any of the performances at CMW.

So here we go:

For Day 1:

What's CMW without The Bloody Five ? They will be at The Bovine along with Apartments and a host of others. Hard rocking tonight!

The Legendary Horseshoe has Thomas D'Arcy and (are you ready?) Daniel Lanois!

Lee's Palace hosts Protomartyr and Metz. Get tickets for this one, it will be popular.

Phoenix Concert Hall has, among others, Gateway Drugs and Jesus and Mary Chain (yes, that Jesus
and Mary Chain) Accept no imitations.

The Silver Dollar has Christian Punk Band, Dying Arts and one word: ZOOBOMBS

The Great Hall (again, look into tickets) will include The Two Koreas and FIDLAR in their Friday lineup

The Hideout  will host Indian Handcrafts and friends

The Opera House includes Red City Radio amongst the stellar lineup.

And that just scratches the surface.
Check the CMW website for other shows and venues.

Stay tuned for Day 2 on Saturday.

Cheers!

Hey Everbody!!!

It's here, the Spring Membership Drive at CIUT, a time when we remind you what it is to be a True-to-the-core Independent Radio Station with different views, off beat music and a chance to bring the listening community into our hearts and programs.

There will still be music on this show..never fear! There won't be as much, but then again, there is so little talking during the other Ruby Slippers shows, you can forgive me this once, right? Please?

Tried to include a lot of local bands tonight as a thank to them for believing in us enough to share their joy and passion.

Also threw in some classic stuff because that's how this show rolls.

Hope you enjoy and as always, thanks so much for listening.
